Don’t pay for basic IT or cybersecurity training
If you are new to tech and trying to transition into cybersecurity or some other areas of tech, you shouldn’t need to pay for any type of training. Unless the topic is very complex, all you need is a decent laptop and an internet connection.
There are plenty of free videos and resources online, and I’ve listed some free resources below to help get you started. All of these resources have been used by us in the past and we still use some of them frequently.

After speaking with several people that were just getting started in their careers, they generally recommended for beginners to start with OverTheWire first, then TryHackMe, and then HackTheBox after you have a good understanding how things work. Good luck!
